It's a good question. I think that is better to let the credits finish and wait to the game to return to the title screen, because the other way is hard to say when the stage was clear or not (you could have end the time when the last action is ejecuted, or before the credits, etc); also it can bring some problems to the people that use real hardware (compared to a emulator, where resets are more simple). I think that for the moment it's better this way, maybe in the future, if more people play the game, we can reconsidered it. Btw, congratulation for your first run :D
Yeah, but the problem is: where i must put the line in what is game and what no? i think it's also pointless to wait for the other cinematics to finish; but well, those are skippable, so it can be considered part of the game. Anyway, now i see that you played with real hardware, if you tell me that have no problem in reset your console, then it's fine for me; i feared that some people maybe protest because reset with emulator is more easy.
