The game's current state is far different to how it was 2 years ago, which is when most runs were uploaded. To reflect this, the categories need to be changed. That's why I propose the following categories:
-
Any% Glitchless
-
Cruciball% Glitchless
-
Any% Glitchless Seeded
-
Cruciball% Glitchless Seeded
The speedup% isn't needed anymore as the game has an official timer built into it, which seems to be the reason why that was even a different category.
Why is there a different category for starting with a common relic? This has been a thing for a substantial amount of time and I see no reason to have the distinction.
Seeds were added to the game fairly recently, so those could be some unique categories to be in line with other games.
I agree with this opinion. With so many big updates and x3 mode as the standard option, I feel the old category doesn't fit, which is one of the reasons why I'm reluctant to register. Also, I would like to add the selection of characters as a column.
+1 for this, was keen to start looking at run, but the main any% runs aren't possible to even do anymore (at least the first place is what I would call a seeded run now)
Finally, Peglin has been released on 1.0 and Switch. Very happy news. However, this SRC is registered as an Early Access version.
The Peglin leaderboard also needs to be either a new full release version or modified as a full release version (including previous category discussions and future moderation).
For anyone interested, I have made a page for the full game with some category reworks and slight rule changes. Excited to see what people can accomplish!
