

# **Hello SRC peeps~**

We're gorlsgoFAST! We are partnered with Lady Arcaders, so there is a bit of overlap there. If you are familiar with them, then you might be familiar with some of us. :) We also host a women's speedrunning charity event annually. We have a chilled community and we wanna meet you!

Normally, each year we pick a different charity, but we have decided that from now on, we will be raising funds for the charity 'I Support the Girls'. We actually supported them for our very first event, and we thought they were a great charity to support. They focus on providing bras and hygiene products for women experiencing poverty, homelessness, or unfortunate circumstances. We love how their focuses are constantly changing and they support people in many different ways. They are currently helping provide support to people experiencing hardship due to the California fires, but they also provide support to women in other countries as well! They have affiliates in the US, Canada, Australia, Pakistan, Philippines, and Germany.

We like to have our submission date end a bit before the actual event. We like to promptly release the schedule and make sure there is enough time to iron out any issues. Please let us know if this is your first event or if you will need any extra assistance setting up for your run. We do use our own obs and you will be streaming to one of our bot channels.

(Note to all runners that we do have some male staffers helping out with the event, but they will not be doing runs, just providing support)

gorlsgoFAST 2025 will be our fifth charity event. Our events focus on highlighting the women speedrunners in the community! We welcome ALL women to apply: whether you are cis, trans, nonbinary, or gender non-conforming.

The wait is almost over! **GSPS Dzieciom 2025**, the biggest Polish charity speedrunning marathon, kicks off on **March 26, 2025**, live from **Hotel Swing in Kraków**. Running until **March 30**, this five-day event will feature an incredible lineup of speedrunners tackling their favorite games at record-breaking speeds—all for a great cause.

### **Supporting a Meaningful Cause**

This year, GSPS Dzieciom is raising funds for[ Na Ratunek Dzieciom z Chorobą Nowotworową](https://naratunek.org/), a foundation dedicated to supporting children battling cancer. Donations will help provide **Snoezelen therapy boxes**, which create immersive sensory experiences for young patients who cannot leave their hospital rooms. Every contribution will bring comfort and relief to children in need.

The event will feature beloved classics and modern hits, with runners showcasing their skills in an effort to break records and entertain the audience. **[Lady Arcaders: Out of Bounds 2ronto](https://ldy.gg/oob2)** is our second annual in-person women & femme speedrunning event taking place on **Sunday, June 15th (12pm-12am)** and **Monday, June 16th (12pm-11pm) 2025**! Folks will play games as quickly as possible, showing off their talents and challenging themselves! The event will also be broadcast online to our Twitch channel. Everyone’s welcome to join the fun!

This event is in participation with **[Toronto Games Week](https://torontogamesweek.com) 2025**, and runs from June 11-17th. Toronto Games Week is a celebration of playable arts and culture! It is a collective coordination of events organized independently by dozens of organizations, creators, curators, and companies.

Out of Bounds will be held at **[Society Clubhouse](https://www.societyclubhouseto.com/)**, an accessible, women-owned, licensed community event space in the heart of Toronto's West End. The venue will have seating space. There will be food, drinks, and alcoholic drinks available for purchase at the venue.

**No Holidays Allowed 2024** is a charity event presented by the **No Glitches Allowed** team that is dedicated to "anything goes" speedruns or showcases!

If you have a race you want to do - or even a multiworld of your favorite games mashed together? Then this event is for you!

Wild West Marathons is a brand new anything goes* marathon dedicated to bringing you a variety of games and categories.

Wild West Marathons 2024 - Games

Going Fast For the Kids has opened submissions for its second marathon, The Retro Masquerade! This marathon will be taking place from 9th-11th November.

It's looking for runs that are retro (at least 10 years old) and spooky. It can fit one or the other, but if you can fit both, even better! Runners will be encouraged to dress-up, either themselves or their VTube models, to really get into the vibe of the masquerade!

## Charity

FTK2 will be raising money for Extra Life, a fundraising program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®. The Extra Life community fundraises year-round to Change Kids’ Health to Change the Future. Donations go to local member hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital paediatric medical equipment, and child life services.

Races of up to four players are welcome, and relays or relay races with up to four players on each team can be supported. Bingo runs or other unusual submissions are also welcome!
