I was going to speedrun Mario Kart 64 on the Mushroom Cup with no skips. And I realize in the rules, it says "Only times done on the original N64 console are allowed.". Thinking that the emulators were banned for this run. I do not have a N64 console and the game for it. So is it banned?

Sadly, if you want to run this category, you have to get the console.

Besides, I'm no good at speedrunning Mario Kart. I sometimes get 5th place or lower because all racers are in the same cc.
