After the recent Twitch changes to VOD storage that you've surely heard about, we've decided to no longer accept Twitch VODs for submissions to the Jak boards. From now on, only YouTube links will be accepted for video proof in a run submission, and we would encourage you to export any previous runs you have highlighted on Twitch over to YouTube.
The Twitch player has always been a point of criticism from a verifier perspective. With frequent playback issues, no frame advance, and now the recent changes, it makes Twitch a less trustworthy site for keeping those VODs available into the future. If things change again in the future, this decision may be reconsidered.
We will not be removing old runs that use Twitch VODs. However, if you want to replace your old Twitch runs with a YouTube upload, we'd be happy to reverify them.
