I have one question.
When I watch the recorded video of this game, it appears that after taking the handgun in the first room where you take the handgun, the slasher moves all the way to open up a spot when going through the incoming slasher.
I have just done this myself hundreds of times and have never been able to reproduce this technique.
Is there some update or something that has come in that makes it impossible to do this?
When it slashes you have to step back to be outside of its hit range, then pass along. I guess you figured that out already.
It always hits directly at you, so stay left for it to go and hit left, for example, that leaves room to pass by to the right. I guess it's a quick DOWN RIGHT UP combo to back off and turn around.

That was probably on the stairs, no problem there.
The problem is right after I get the handgun, the slasher constantly blocks the way in the narrow corridor and keeps complementing and attacking Haydee without moving.
The recording video shows the slasher moving behavior to clear the way, but I can't reproduce the same situation no matter how many times I try.
Is there any way to guide them?
When I started speedrunning this it was common to load the weapon immediately and shoot the slasher. Look at earlier runs, you'll see me doing that. I'm sure when you get used to it over time, it gets easier to stop and evade the slashing.
It used to be the case that people just quickly loaded to kill the Slasher. It's a minor time loss, honestly, I'd still do it.
You're right, if I just want to run, that's good enough for me.

Is this slasher through method used by first through third place still a reproducible technique? (I'm talking about in the small room where the handguns are kept.)
Is there any update that makes it no longer reproducible?
Just so I'm not misunderstood, I'm not suspecting any rule violations, etc.
I'm simply wondering because I can't reproduce it even once, no matter how many hours I spend on it.
