I've seen this on some recorded runs where it shows what keyboard and mouse buttons are being pressed. There's some unused space on my recordings and I think that would a great thing to add. How can I accomplish this myself? Here's hoping it's not too complicated.

The most common method is either Nohboard or an Input Overlay plugin for OBS. The difference is that Nohboard is a seperate program that you have to use a window capture on OBS to record while the Input Overlay plugin is an OBS plugin meaning it doesn't require any additional software to run. The input overlay that is used in that video is Nohboard.

Btw, I personally think Nohboard is easier to setup and rearrange the keys since it's more straight forward while the Input Overlay Plugin is quite confusing if you don't know what you're doing.
I'd recommend the Input Overlay plugin. It's dummy easy to setup, I even made a video on how to set it up.
