Hello guys. Considering the old 730hp V8 Scania has a little bit higher rev limiter vs the new Scania engine or volvo's, why is the Volvo classic the most used truck on the speedruns? Wouldn't the old Scania streamline with the 730hp engine and overdrive 12speed gearbox be the fastest? What is the best combination of engine+transmission then on the latest patch? Thank you

Hi there, so far as we are aware, the combo of the 750hp Volvo and the best ratio 12 speed gearbox yields the greatest top speeds, across all game versions, but if you are able to produce different results then please demonstrate this in a video and link it, we are always happy to experiment. We do not regularly actively test different combinations.
