So I just checked here (thanks to one runner reminding me on checking this board), and the only moderator of this board - jaypin88 - is permanently banned from SRC. I don't understand why he was banned or what caused the ban, though, and how exactly is this game going to be moderated? Anyone here has any idea?

Oh no, I could handle the moderating if jaypin88 is banned because someone will definitely submit their submission on the board, I could push this a letter or request to the site moderators.

I would like to be a moderator of this game leaderboard too, but one thing is that I might not check on this site too often due to my university stuff as of late. I have another run that has yet to be submitted but I haven't done that yet because again, I've been a bit busy these days.

I plan to run this game someday soon, and this news is insane, I can be a mod and learn about the game if you guys want :)

One reason it really sucks is because this guy moderated 49 games, alot of which I can assure he was the only mod of

Good point... Having just one moderator around might not be sufficient and I think we need some more just in case. At least if one of them is inactive, another moderator could still back it up. Anyone can be a moderator, though.

As per date, Jaypin88 has contacted the site moderators to enlighten him on why he is just magically banned. I have made arrangements with him, to make me the moderator if the situation is resolved, for now, we should just wait until the situation is enlightened.

Are there any updates on the moderation situation? I just submitted a 1st place speedrun and would be very disappointed if it can't go on the leaderboard

Okay, worry not, I have already made and submitted a request form to become a moderator in this game, we will just wait for the site moderators will have to say about this situation.
