Major thanks to vaxherd for creating this incredible route, to airkix72 for finding an RNG setup so that I could speedrun the game on an original Dragon Warrior 3 cartridge, and to Dwedit for providing valuable information about how the game handles various situations during the glitching process.

Unlike other runners, I found myself glitching the Hero's first item slot way too frequently to hope not to glitch past the Sword of Kings. Rather than figure out what I was doing differently, I added an extra Clothes to the Hero's inventory and moved the Sword of Kings down the list as soon as I got it.

In this run I eliminated all menuing mistakes and nailed the boss rush for the sub 44.
