Is there a way to get proper IGT as the simpletimer can't be used?

there is no other in game timer outside of the mission timer mod at this point that can be used for submission, the end screen timer can give an approximation but isn't what is used to time runs.

It is perfectly valid to upload a run with a timer added in after the run like with video editing. If you do it this way, remember that the timer needs to start when the doors begin to open and your character can move. The timer should end as soon as the hud elements leave the screen and your character puts away their tools after hitting the exit zone.
