So far this leaderboard does not prohibit using glitches such as prespeed, rampboosting, etc. When I first became mod I saw this and I decided to leave it this way because I didn't want to ban like 30 runs because of old patched glitches.
Now that I think, it is not fair to make records w/glitches to compete with legitimate records. So, I am deciding to divide glitchless runs and glitched runs.
This leaderboard isn't active that much, but feel free to share your opinion if you don't agree with this decision. Thank you.
whats the point of unbeatable runs? only if there was a way to get olders versions of this game
tl;dr-even if I decide to invalidate old runs it is hard to judge if the run is invalid or not because of various minor changes made to the maps
That's true. So, when I separate between glitchless and glitch categories, I also thought about updating the rules to invalidate the records achieved using the already patched method. Developers patched various bugs and made various minor changes to the map, for example in Welkin Blue. The starting point has moved, and there is a softcap on the speed. For this reason, the criteria for distinguishing whether records should be invalidated or not are unclear and ambiguous, so it seems difficult to reject records at all, so I decided to postpone that decision for now.
Or, based on the fact that the game is no longer updating, I think it is one way to divide the current version 1.3 and the version below 1.2 into different categories. However, the reason this is also problematic is that this leaderboard does not have so many records in the first place, and there are many maps that do not already have records such as pure or cobble. Dividing more categories here will make the leaderboard more confusing, and will create more and more blanks.
found 1.1 demo version, uploaded by the devs, but it only has one map https://www.moddb.com/games/bunny-hop-league/downloads/bhltestversion
cannot upload for some reason anyway it only has hollow2 map, but prespeed is working, so maybe there is a way to modify steam version with files from this version
I can try uploading. also, I will try to work out how we can play new maps on older version, or at least find like v1.2 where there are more maps.
unpacked 1.1, droped blueprints to 1.2 and it worked. but not with steam version, it just crashes, cause of the engine update

1.1, not sure if it works
