how are we proving the difficulty of the run?

Good evening,

in order to prove the difficulty you use:

- when it comes to a full run of the game you should be able to see the difficulty level you choose.

- if it is a run concerning operations, the best thing when recording is that you start recording the chosen level and the difficulty level on video. It appears at the bottom right of the screen when you have validated your level before getting into the thunderhawk.

submission videos can easily be edited at black screens.

if your aim is to encourage people to join in and compete for this leaderboard not having better proof is a major turn off.

an easy solution is to update submission rules to include a squad hud screen during the run.

this can be done by pressing the trackpad on ps5. i do not know how its done on pc.

this overlay does not interfere with the controls or the timing of the game so it wont impact the time. every mission includes a wait period at certain points that can be used. i myself tap the trackpad at the beginning of every run as clear irrefutable proof and it does not require the character to stop moving.

also after patches the difficulties change quite a lot. it would be fair if every run had the patch number on it and the leaderboard should be updated to reflect this.

i understand that ruthless used to be easier but ive seen a few videos that simply do not match the gameplay of the difficulty mentioned.

You can tell the difficulty by how many hits it takes to kill an enemy, but it's true, what I've been doing is showing the difficulty before the level, but we might need some extra proof
