Settings

You can disable transition animations which will save you about a minute.
In-game timer should be enabled.

In-game timer displays time in minutes:seconds:frames at 60fps, therefore to get ms time for a run take frames, divide by 60 and multiply by 1000.

Trap skips

"Not a chainsaw" can be just ran past while you're close to the edge since its radius is not quite 1 tile. This can be really helpful because it's relatively easy to pull off.

Wall spears can be skipped as well, but its a nearly pixel perfect edge run.

The necromancer fight has a few stages where you can skip n-1 cycles.
- Spiky floor can be 1 cycled if you run 2 diagonal right after you spawn and 1 diagonal to the necromancer the next cycle. Very easy to do if you realise you're on that floor.
- Big Chainsaw. You can just run to the last checkpoint, dodge the spike and complete the floor. Hard, but possible to 0-cycle.
- Chainsaw spam - run on the edge. You will most likely need to do some manuvers at the last turn.
