oh hi,
I am on an adventure to do a Multiple Worms Games run of Quick Games, one of them being done on Reloaded, and I just completed a run of Quick Game, but I did it on a DLC terrain theme. Should that be a subcategory?
the DLC terrains that I'm aware of are:
- Puzzle Pack
- Forts Pack
- Time Attack
- Retro Pack
- Mayhem Arabic
- Mayhem Prehistoric
- Mayhem Wild West
- Crazy Golf Britannia
- Warzone[?]
Puzzle/Forts/Time Attack/Retro are all DLCs Mayhem terrains appear if you have Worms Ultimate Mayhem on the same Steam account Britannia appears if you have Worms Crazy Golf on the same Steam account unsure of how Warzone theme gets unlocked
in the shop there are also 6 purchasable landscapes, how should these be handled as well?
for reference, my run was done on the Puzzle terrain
I don't think our community is big enough to differentiate between all the current DLC versions let alone the landscapes. I would say that the most fair option (to get people into this version of Worms) would be to allow all landscapes besides purchase of other games.
That being said, you can't really avoid it if you've bought the game on your account. What do you think is the most fair?
I've added the Quick Game category. For now, I've added all the landscape themes, including the ones from DLC/other games, and put them all in the same leaderboard (not as sub-categories, just filterable variables) and made it so that runs on different landscapes don't obsolete each other. While right now I don't foresee this category being run very much, in theory this will allow to easily pinpoint if there are any landscapes that have obvious advantages over the others, at which point a better separation can be discussed.
