Hello everyone,

Over the past couple days, the mods have been discussing the current state of the leaderboards, mainly classic mode and arcade mode.

For a while, we have had a grandfather clause when it comes to runs with photo proof runs on the site. However, recently we have came to question if we should even keep these top times and scores with photo proof, as it seems no progression will ever happen with these runs remaining on the leaderboards.

On 7/9/2023, all top times without video proof will be removed from the classic mode and arcade mode categories to provide a more level playing ground. We will only go up to what is unreasonable for each mode, so some challenge will still be there in beating the records, just not an unfair challenge.

We hope you understand this decision that we have made and look forward what new world records can be done with video proof.
