Due to different loading times on each hardwares, you should start timer when Area 1 is loaded and you start playing. And timer stops when you kill Area 4 boss on last hit, when you trigger cutscene. This is correct timing.
Character moves without controlling when hitting first flower, so that's the point where time should stop.
You lose control of character when those upper flowers starts.
The runner of Area X said that Red and Blue are the same levels, nothing is different between them. The rule for this area is the same as for all others - time starts when you enter area and ends, when last boss is defeated.
Area 5 is necessary only for 100%. Basic levels are 1-4, so they are the only that are required for any%. I'll add a clearment to rules of that.
Just do runs you want, and if you do them, I'll just add each tracks to the leaderboards.
There are so many tracks to add them in one moment.
I can. All of them? It could take some time. But which of them? All including arcade and carrer races?
Arcade mode is not related to carrer, so you don't have to do this. I'll add this to rules.
Hi, day ago Rez Infinite came to Steam. Well, can someone, who have this game, check is this port good to speedrun? Well, i can't check this out, because my PC is too weak.
Take a look at MC:LA leaderboards. There is category for Remix :)
it's ok with me, nvm it's doesn't change the entire game so much
Emulators are allowed. I think it doesn't matter.
I think no one will run this game on VR, but if someone will, i'll do separate category.
Ok, im gonna add any% and 100% normal and hard and add 2 other consoles. And also misc category 'Area X'. I never played REZ on PS4, so i didn't knew about that. And Direct Assault.
Well so which is fastest? NTSC or NTSC-J ? What about Sega Saturn ?
There was a run on YT under 12 hours , made on real hardware, so if its true, 11:40 in segmented is possible on emulator. We should test more and i think there should be a category for emulators and for real hardwares(consoles)
