I always play on normal but that's just me. I think when Freya was briefly playing PC they played normal, but that's just because the PC version only had one difficulty initially and that's what we grew up on.

The PC version has a bunch of faster stuff so the way we were doing it early days was my runs were different because even though the times were faster, the game has you keep going. It doesn't end there and the goal is to beat the game. If you beat the first 3 worlds and don't get an end cutscene, it's not plumaxia%. This was a temporary solution for 2 people that played the game and one who never submitted a run but had strong opinions, and of course a temporary solution is never changed until absolutely necessary.

I'd invite more discussion if people have opinions. The community was 3 people then, and only one of us is still around. To say that that original opinion matters more because I registered this game would be silly.

Idea: An automated stream that plays the most recent full game world records on the front page of speedrun.com as an extra way to get more exposure for games, perhaps with some requirements ( number of active players/total players/presence of commentary?).

I figure nearly every speedrunner or speedrunning community wants to get their game more exposure, and this would be a good tool for doing this.

Mostly asking if anyone has done this, or putting it out there to people who may want to do this; I don't have the technical understanding to do it myself.

You forgot that you start with 3 hearts. You need to gain 10, 5 come from shrines so at least 20 shrines

The Legendary Hero category suggestion sounds like something I wanted to route and run that a guy on /r/speedrun called Beast Dungeons, Shrines, Memories, obviously shortened to BDSM for the memes. Seems like a category that gets pretty much everything out of the game that isn't insanely grindy, though all shrines feels like quite a grind on its own.

My partner suggests dog% as a meme category where you make friends with every dog.
