To Restore Steam Save Data
Go to C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Little Flag Software, LLC\Neon White There's a folder named a bunch of random numbers. Inside is a ghosts folder, which you should copy into the NOUSERNAME folder, and two savedata files that you should copy into the root of the "Neon White" folder. This of course will overwrite your post-steam-removal save data but if you back it up it's reversible.
i found earlier today that you can back up/restore save data (including the thought-to-be-lost steam saves), which would make resetting a file much much quicker for this category.
there's a lot of setups like this that i've tried to incorporate into my full game run and i 100% agree if we can get them safely and consistently it'll improve overall speed and consistency a bunch.
the major problem i've faced is that which strong attack comes out is actually completely random, as discovered from looking at the flash code. there are 3 attacks that can come out when you press x and 2 of them have the ability to instakill like you've shown. the major consistency problem i've encountered in full game runs is that the cpu on the bottom row levels will often hit you with the same tech if you roll the 1/3 and just do damage, or outrace you to a weapon you can't contest.
i'm mostly bringing this up to let you know that it's not always your execution, it sometimes is just randomness whether you'll get the full combo off.
yeah, the video is incomplete. thanks for the information, I didn't realize that the timestamp stayed the same.
Hi, I'm the one active mod for a small game and a user submitted a run a few days ago that doesn't meet the requirements for being approved, but when I reject it, the next day, I think at midnight, I get the [1] notification again and it says the same run is pending again. It still says the original submission time so it's not just being resubmitted.
Anyone have this problem or know what to do?
I would like to request moderation of Chaos Faction. The sole moderator has not been online in 2 years, and as such, a day or two after I submitted two runs, I messaged them on Twitter and attempted to add them on Discord. They have not replied nor been online on this site since then, and they have only a single run on the site, of that game.
