Well, I get what you mean, so don’t worry about it being wordy. It just kinda confused me when I saw it is all. But I think my Idea for extreme% could also be the replacement for williams% but with the same rules. Idk, the mods and SRC will have to look into it sometime

Hi. I looked through the full-game leaderboard and found that, in the F2 section where no one has submitted a run yet, there are all the categories from F1. this is weird, as A. both the 2018 F2 season as well as the 2019 F2 season cars are in the game and B. all the F2 cars are created equally, so the performance is really down to the drivers themselves. there is no worst car. maybe it's an idea to either remove Williams% from F2 or rename it to extreme%, where you have to race on 110 AI with fixed assists. just a though, let me know if it's a good one. cheers

well, F1 2009 is on the Wii, where you just hold a remote in the air. a lot of lap records (during a GP) were set in 2018 and 2019, but I also still see a couple of lap records from M. Schumacher in 2004. but in my experience, F1 2016 cars are pretty fast, just like the 2018 cars and the 2010 ones aren't slow either. but that's just my opinion

I can see the explenation behind the flashbacks and the championships standings, but I would also like to hear your thoughts on the difficulty, the assists (no assisted starts) and the added camera perspective.

I would understand if you decide to neglect the camera option (TV Pod offset). But the difficulty could be higher and the manual race start DO make it harder for some people, and that is what hard% is all about, isn't it? to be tougher than a all tracks run. (BTW, I will be doing a hard% run with the current rules in around 5-10 days as of me posting this)

Edit: I would also like to see your thoughts on the setup rule (Only changing things that are allowed in Parc Fermé)

Hi. I'm currently new to speedrunning this game, so don't expect me to get WR in the most popular category. I've looked through the rules of Championship, Hard% and it Isn't that hard. I personally race with ABS and Traction control on Medium, with Manual starts and Sim Damage on (even though it can be a bit wonky at time) and I find it to be relatively easy. the difficulty cap I can understand, as the AI on one track at, say, 84 difficulty are tougher than on another track. but I propose some new rules for this category, and I will not do a run on this category until It's confirmed that either these changes are accepted or rejected. here we go:

[Begin Rules] -You are required to complete all sessions; if your runs features a DNF (either through crashing or retirement in the pause menu) or DQ, your run is invalidated unless they are undone with flashbacks or the session is done again -You are allowed to drive in any team of choice -Runs must be done on the most recent patch -You must Place top 7 in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship -The following assists are allowed -ABS -Traction Control: Medium -Racing line: Corners only -Other Assists are forced to be turned off -Video proof of your Racing settings (assists and gameplay settings) is required before you start the run -You are limited to a maximum of [Insert number here] Flashbacks. If you use more than [Insert number here], your run is invalidated. you must let us know how much flashbacks you've used in the run description -Safety car and Parc Fermé must be on -Vehicle Damage must be on simulation -The following Camera types are allowed: ()Cockpit ()TV Pod ()TV Pod Offset -Difficulty must be set on 80 or higher -Changes to the setup that can not be made if Parc Fermé is active are not allowed to be done to the car. No rear wing changes or Tire Presseure changes allowed, but changes to the Front Wing, On Throttle Diff and Brake Balance are allowed. Brake Balance, and On Throttle Diff are able to be changed from the car, whilst you need to make a pit stop to change the Front Wing mid-race

Timing starts when you press the button that corresponds with going to track in Australia and ends once you Finish in Abu Dhabi

[End Rules] These rules are designed to make Hard% actually difficult. the limited flashbacks rule is designed to force players to think carefully about using their flashbacks. However, I don't know how many flashbacks in considered 'fair' in a almost 4 hour long run. let me know what you guys think

maybe there could be a category for a real 100%. let me explain. normal 100% requires 25/50 stunt jumps, 8/15 knife flights and 25/50 under the bridges, completion of all side and main missions and getting all collectibles, while also purchasing a couple of property and doing 14 'random' events. but the real 100% requires every mission gold medal (both main and side), purchase of all properties, 50/50 stunt jumps, 15/15 knife flights, 50/50 under the bridges and all 60 'Random' events (Side mission 'the last one' for franklin shouldn't be required, as it only unlocks after getting 100% completion in the game) I don't know if the mission 'Ms. Philips' for Trevor after completing the main missions is required for 100% completion, but I don't think that it is. maybe Viper, Reloe and osurce can think about adding this category in the game. but be warned: this category will take longer than 12 hours to complete

what you could also do, as the hotkeys for LiveSplit work even if you can't SEE LiveSplit, is record with LiveSplit in the background, like running the game on fullscreen. if you record with OBS and have the right layout, the timer will still appear for the video/livestream, even though you can't see it. all the hotkeys still work, so set your hotkeys as buttons that you'll never use in GTA, like Numpad+ and Numpad*

Every run that follows the rules (e.g. single-segmented and no mods etc.) should be accepted, even if you are around 45 minutes off of WR

OK, quick update on the testing of the strat: I have found it to be A: nothing like Franklin's power, and B: the radio wheel slows down time a little bit more than Franklin's power. It was a good idea, but I find it not working. that could just be my testing that's wrong, but what I did was the following: I switched to Franklin, did a brake boost with his power when I was at max speed and looked at a spedometer, then did the smae thing, but with the radio wheel. the result was that the radio wheel boost was the same speed as a non-powered boost, and was a lot slower than the powered boost. I think I will need to do more testing, but for now: render the strat useless

it seems logical that it would work, but I think it's harder to master. but if we openly test it, maybe the strat will gain more momentum. the thing I'm concerned about, is that the radio swap button only slows down time. it doesn't give you extra traction, and it most certainly won't pull you ouf of the air quicker. I think I will do some testing later today and post my findings here. but I have to say that it's good thinking, Randomnubergen

So, I am currently playing on Patch 3.55 of Brawlhalla. (If you could also please answer if it's allowed to do runs on patches other than Patch 3.46) I like using Vector, as his sigs are some that I can work with. the problem I have when creating my splits, Is that, for legends, I can not select Vector. If it's not possible, I'll try using Yumiko or Ada, but if they can be added, please do so, so I can submit a run. I see some runs that don't have the patch mentioned, so I will do a run today on Patch 3.55 and try to get it verified on the leaderboard, but please note that this will be on 100% with vector
