The thing with that is people still had a complete ability to question USB loader but were too dumb to notice any large differences. It was a mistake on their part, and more than anything Veman was just a lucky SOB in the whole situation.
You and everyone else here knows he didnt clearly cheat. And the fact that this whole issue was years back makes it even more laughable. Case closed.
Bluehits I'm not trying to persuade you to be against someone though, I'm trying to persuade you to do the right thing here,
Because he's MANIPULATIVE. c'mon man you're a nice guy don't get sucked into his shit. Why do you think I've completely cut contact with that lunatic. He riled up a bunch of people neutral on the issue and convinced him to fight his fight for him. This whole thing is fucking ridiculous. Skozzy tried to be friends with Veman after the whole fiasco and was rejected. Skozzy is an insecure asshole who only looks out for HIS best interests...
Also Bluehits as soon as you said "Victim of Circumstance" I knew skozzy is the one who's been feeding you shit. And also he's the one who apparently rallied up this entire situation. He's more manipulative than anyone else in the community.
Lmfao the argument to ban Veman obviously has no basis. The people who have something against the guy personally are the only ones who are rallying to ban him. As EVERYONE KEEPS STATING, manipulating is not cheating. Just a few people who are fucking butthurt and want the guy to pay a price for it. Whatever penalty he should have gotten should have been dealt with years ago, it's a dead issue that's only exploded from the hate of a few select people
Oh wow, even writing that last post HDlaxbm shows a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Brutally attacking someone for no goddamn reason. Duckstroyer stated a perfectly valid argument, although yes the view doesn't have a strong knowledge base, their was ABSOLUTELY no reason to publicly criticize him for it...
Considering how brutally attacked I was first getting into this community maybe try seeing this from my point of view, I've always been easily able to forgive people even when they're absolutely unequivocally in the wrong. As far as I'm concerned banning him from the boards at this point is your guys' way of taking revenge. It's disgusting. We all know no matter how he acted in the past he wouldn't dare try to use a faster software ever again... And what he did wasn't even cheating in the first place. Bending the truth is wrong, but there's absolutely no good reason to ban him at this point except to satisfy your hurts by him from the past. I coincidentally left the LM discord earlier today, and this is just another good reason as of why.
It disgusts me to read this update honestly. You guys can do what you want as mods, but banning someone for mistakes made YEARS in the past is the most unprofessional thing I've ever heard. Issues from way back when shouldn't be brought up again. Especially considering everything Vasacce has already been put through for his mistakes. You guys need to find another outlet instead of stirring around old forgotten drama.
After catching up with the current arguments in the thread, I'd also like to add that although getting added as a mod does simply mean we have the right to verify and deject runs, people wouldn't be fighting so hard to keep their spots if their wasn't more to getting a sword then that. Being a mod is more of a social status whether we would like to acknowledge that or not. And I also agree with removing BooHead and Jared if he's actually done with this game. "If you have no involvement with actively playing the game I feel it's silly to have that same person have a voice in what changes could be made to leaderboards, times etc. But I would also like to add that there's no reason they couldn't be re-added as mod if things change and they show more dedication to the game/community. Personally I feel Inactivity or not running the game at all are both fine reasons on their own to remove someone as mod. Obviously we all have real lives to attend to first, but being able to hold on to this social status for no reason other then that you want it seems silly. And when it comes to Me and Mike, "Not entirely sure about Rhombus," But we both have remained active in the community since we joined. We are also dedicated players, "me less, but I've grinded 50+ hours in the last week alone so I'm comin back ;)" Just waiting on my Capture card to come so I can stream. Anyways whoever gets added to the board or removed I won't complain about, but at this point I feel as though people hating on me for getting such good times would the main culprit of me not getting added in this mod popularity contest.
Yeah Adam you do have a point, I totally forgot about that honestly, I've just been thinking about who actively runs, which doesnt even really matter lol. In that case two supermods wouldnt hurt anything I dont think. I mean it's just a different colored sword Kappa b
Also I would like to add as drama free and as friendly as possible, maybe we should stick with one supermod, but with Adam being typically busy with IRL stuff it might be good to consider a new supermod? I love Adam to death so hopefully this doesnt offend him <3
Hey guys :D
If were able to remove three current inactive mods their wouldn't be a need to have to vote or choose anyone, but either way I'd be happy to state my case.
I've been a part of this community I believe since around September 2015, and although my times were heavily questioned I've become a solid part of the community and have been more or less consistently active since. "No matter how many times I've retired xD" I'd love to be able to have a bit of a stronger input on any future decisions and feel I could serve as a fair leader along with the other mods :) Typically I'm a levelheaded guy so I know when dealing with drama I feel I can respond without being offensive to either party.
Thanks guys!
120 FPS is Fun AF. Is there anything stopping us just having like 12 misc categories? That almost seems better than choosing one meme over the other
So I see most people are definitely for removing Chauncey Key and Bogmire Key... Which I'm fine with. But the argument that they are dead categories isn't fully true. After taking a look at both of the categories' leaderboards both of them have submissions within the last two weeks. And as far as I'm concerned the categories replacing them will be just as underused as these two categories within a month or so. Ya'll are free to do as you please. But if getting rid of underused categories is the goal here, then why is Normal Mansion still a thing? I'd say toss all of the Misc categories before adding these.
