Basically, I figured out how to three finger rake tap the A button and was almost able to max out the running speed meter while messing around on emulator and I'm wondering if I should break out the official hardware and get some of these scores legitimized (idk if you guys track IL scores here, all I have to go off of is Twin Galaxies):

100m - 8.02s (second place according to Twin Galaxies) Long Jump - 11.28m (Tied for 5th) Hurdles - 10.88s (2nd place) Javelin - 125.52m (WR?)

There's no way I actually beat the Javelin world record (on unofficial hardware) in like 5 minutes of attempts after learning rake tapping, right? I feel like I'm missing something but idk if TG is really active since most of these records are from the mid 2000s.

I can post a video of me performing this on actual hardware if this is useful information for speedrunning. Based on the WR speedrun it looks like people are typically getting around 1400 speed out of the 1600ish max whereas my method is getting around 1550 most of the time. The WR video looks like they are using a very similar method to mine (raking several fingers back and forth over the buttons) so idk what I could be doing to be reaching a faster speed with such a similar approach.

I'm totally new here so idk what other info to provide other than that I was on the US NES version (emulated).
