I did a run last night, and i just discovered after I submit the run the recording freezes, and does not show the finishing time. Is there another way to verify the run or do I have to do it over?

If you have not bought one yet may I suggest the Hauppauge - HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition High Definition Game Capture Device works on all systems. I have had now since November and it works like a dream.

Reading the forums these guys feel that Glitchless & NO OOB is boring as a speedrun, they don't see the challenge in it.

any chance you could add a Glitchless Category?

I figured that, just when you read the rules for both, they say the same thing.

yes I am back, question what is the difference between new game and New Game + on All Upgrades, the rules are the same. What are my noobie eyes missing? :)

I am curious though for the speedrun why do you go by timer we have to set and not the in-game timer? Where the in-game timer takes into account the cut-scenes and the transition from each chapter? Just curious because the game itself haves a speed challenge.

Greetings just checking on the status of the runs I did a few days ago. Please let me know when you verify them.

Why not? Using Glitches is a cheat but it is allowed....try doing it without the glitches and see how well you can do.

So question, can a category for New Game + any% Glitchless & No OOB & New Game + 100% Glitchless & OOB be add?

I smell a new challenge, lol.... I am going to try this too.

Has anyone done a speed run without glitches and with the Catwoman DLC? does it count for anything?

Thanks for the input guys, since I am a noob and don't know glitches, LOL...I will go for the challenge of speedruns without glitches.

I guess I was under the impression that when doing a speed run you try to complete a game as fast as possible under normal setting or within the parameters of the game....Glitching I thought was a cheat, like doing a speed run on Sonic The Hedgehog but using the debug code. I am new will adjust, and do the best I can within the borders of the games.

I am noticing on the speed runs for some of the Batman games people are glitching and modding that counts as a valid speed run?
