I think the star is just an object and not an actual star
Test: https://streamable.com/lxxcs Results:
- Star didn't work :(
- 1-Up didn't work :(
- Checkpoint worked! :)
I think ILs for chapters will be good. Chapters w/ starting cutscenes start at skip and end at the load to the next. Chapters w/o starting cutscenes just go on entering the chapter to load to the next. Final would end on the door ending the game.
Any% but time ends when you grab the 15th Star? The Distortio boss fight is pretty hard, and causes a lot of resets at the very end of the run.
but isn't using the key to skip the other 2 keys in Boo's Mansion a glitch
So, as you may know the current runs for Any% use wall fling in order to go faster. However, roblox updates removed wall flings, so I am suggesting a category split between Current and Legacy.
I did it bois I ran zeldas letter rta Kappa https://streamable.com/zkfjx
also it is a hard trick so if you don't get it first try don't worry I fail it all the time lol
If you mean wall clips without path you hold yourself up against the corner and put your camera at an angle and then you are holding S and you have your camera away from the wall, and have it at a slight angle? (Chenzy08 on Roblox told me slight angles help with these types of clip) and then press shift to activate and then shift to deactivate and that should work.
So you use your path and you hold left mouse and you try to hold S and possibly A/D depending on direction. I don't think it works on straight walls only roofs and corners? Hope this helps. Shift lock also helps you not get a bad angle.
Hello, so as of right now Any% currently lists "Beat the game" but there is a slight problem in the rules that could lead to inconsistent timing. So, what counts as Starting the game? The games start clearly is where time begins, but this rule can be inconsistent. SpeedDemosArchive used first input. If you view Elements of Robloxia's current rule set for Dev Warp%, you can see timing starts when you leave the spawn (in this game it is a blue foiled block with a star in the center.) This difference in timing can lead to a 0.3-second timing difference which can be the difference between getting XX or XX+1. As for ending the game? It is pretty apparent that once you get the Bowser Star, it is over.
Now, for 100% which currently has no runs. What does 100% mean? Based on No Noob/Noobs one can assume that noobs are not a requirement, but what about One-Ups? If that is the case and we need all-stars and those objects, I am suggesting a split between 100% and All-Stars. All-Stars requiring all 20 stars, and 100% requiring all-stars and other listed requirements.
Since those are the two most serious categories in my opinion that is all I have to say Kappa
