It's also technically another Ganonless. I wonder how the leaderboard will be managed with it.
That happened for me sometimes in my mobile runs, and it's usually due to mashing too much (or going too fast). Although it doesn't softlock for me; sometimes during the 4th level it did crash on me. Strange that PC has different effects. My best tip would be to perhaps delay entering the hole for each level.
All animation skips should be possible on PC, however it's a lot harder and far more tedious because of relying on a single mouse cursor instead of 2 fingers.
That's cool. Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing another mobile runner of the game.
I'd say no. I suggest buying the 2nd half of the game, or you can do individual level runs.
Strange.... have you tried other buttons/controller ports?
I was just setting up LiveSplit for this game, and it mentioned that emulators are not allowed. So, sorry.
I've been wanting to spread the word about this for quite a while, since I'm not sure if I'm the only one who knows about this glitch. I haven't even found any info on it online either. If you know anything about this glitch, please tell me.
So almost a year ago I discovered this glitch that seems to have happened due to falling and triggering the death cutscene at the same time, and being revived by a fairy. This caused the camera to get messed up and prevent me from moving. Unfortunately, I don't have any footage of this glitch, but I do have an image of it which can be viewed here: https://d3esbfg30x759i.cloudfront.net/ss/WVW69iiXqZYKjKEee0
This happened in Treacherous Tower on the 18th floor. This might work and have different effects elsewhere, but I don't know.
Hello, I'm new to this community and new to speedrunning. That's right: Superstar Saga will be my first speedgame.
Ok, so I've been learning the any% route and practicing through emulator. Everything was going fine until I started doing sign glitch. Either I'm screwing it up, or the emulator can't replicate the same effect as on console. I'm sure I'm following the tutorial just fine, but I can't get spin jump icon on Luigi.
At the time I'm posting this, I have not tested it on the Wii U vc version yet.
So can someone tell me if I wasn't doing the glitch correctly, or if it was just the emulator.
All N64 games look dark on Wii U. That's just how it emulates. Also, most glitches like wrong warp would be harder on Wii U because of input lag. Because of input lag, Wii U is not the recommended system for speedrunning Oot.
