Just curious, How many Shrines can be completed without ever obtaining the paraglider?
Attempting a run like this to get the shrine reward armor set without making story progression, so far I have gotten to around 46 with minimal resistance. Using fairies to negate fall damage helps for the shrine quest for the Zakusu shrine, and the only other shrine of note so far is Morok shrine with the springs. I used bows in order to angle my trajectory, as without having enough space to angle the springs they just send you straight up with no way to really change your decent. Will keep you posted!
Update: As far as 1.2.0 goes, all shrines are possible! Mainly ones near Wind Temple will require stuff like bow smuggling to gain height. Dunno what changed with 1.2.1 but as long as there's a way to gain height without zonai devices it still should be doable
Update to update: since bow smuggling seems to be patched it seems all shrines no glider is only possible pre-1.2.1
