In the Nintendo Direct we saw new modes. We will add new categories as soon as we know a little more of these new modes

I guess we have to wait few days at all, cuz at the moment there are only 20-50 players in a game with the new mode.

I added the 750 lines category for Marathon. Also I made the difference between IGT and LST. IGT means In-Game Time. This means that the timer in game equals final time of the run. LST means LiveSplit Timer. For those who doesn't know what LiveSplit is, It's the best app for speedrunning and tracks time and splits. This method is used for all categories except the 40 and 750 lines in Marathon. These two categories uses IGT instead.

In my opinion 750 is too high, cuz its almost 999 ... If I already did 750 lines, I want to complete 999 tbh. Maybe 500 would be better but I dont know if we really need a new marathon category.

And I guess we also can use the IGT for the new categories? I mean why not? There is a timer and we can see when lines turn 40 or 500 or what ever and can take the shown time...

Tetris 99 recently got a pretty big update. It introduces team battles. We are currently working to add this mode but if you have a suggestion(s) (rules and times) fell free to upload yours here

tbh i dont have a good idea for team battles. Is being the last player in the game (= win the game on #1) an option? I dont play team games, so I dont know...

I deleted the 500-marathon-category btw. I think it was unneeded
