Hey, i'm thinking of speedrunning this game. I know that other people have posted and said that they will speedrun this game and then they left and did not submit a run, but I definitely will. I'm creating a route for this game now, and I will most likely finish and submit a run tomorrow. I have some different tactics which may lead to getting the WR. If I do get it, I can post my notes for the route or you can just see the route in the run. I just wanted to know if the Moderator for this game is still active, as no-one has submitted a run recently. Thanks for reading :)

Looking forward to watching your run! This game is a favorite of mine, but I recently haven't had the time/patience/dedication to work on running it myself. I still find some interesting stuff like the No Flashlight glitch I came across a while ago. So yeah, looking forward to seeing your run and your route! :)

I have found what could potentially be used for a very good skip. It skips getting the cat snacks for the House area, by clipping through the door and getting to the outside without snowbell's help. I'm going to test it in a run, and if I can pull it off and save time I will post a guide on how to do it :D

That would be very neat! Getting the cat snacks is a very big time loss in House, so cutting that altogether would be great.

Also, even if you can't get it to work consistently or in a run, feel free to share what you found! I'd be glad to have a look myself and try to find a way to make it work and/or to make it more consistent. :D

I have done it! It works, but it can be very inconsistent. Ill show a video which demonstrates the wall clip, but i'm still unsure whether this could be used in a run and be faster than getting all of the cat snacks. I'll upload a video in the Guides section :D

I have posted the glitch with a typed tutorial and a video in the Guides. I'm going to do a speedrun of the house section using this route and see if it is faster than getting the photo of the yacht.

I don't think this glitch will work, its way to inconsistent to be used to skip the catsnacks. The WR does the last level in 9:32m which i think can only be reduced by about 20 seconds if you get the glitch quickly. So, a much safer and easier route would be the one used in the current world record. Perhaps the wall clip can be used somewhere else in this game to get a faster time.

Great find! I remember watching something similar at one point but I had never managed to do it myself, so I assumed it was way too inconsistent to even be used. However, finding a proper set-up might help speed the glitch up and make it more reliable. I will try to have a look for more uses of it when I have free time in about a month.

Hey again, I just wanted to say I haven't forgot about speedrunning this game haha, like I said I finished that 1:01:41 run but I am fairly certain I accidentally deleted it lol. I have dug out my PS2 and found my copy of Stuart Little 3, so I may do speedruns on actual hardware if I get a capture card. I will try my best to finish a full run of this soon :D

Great to know! I'm finding myself pretty busy at the moment, so I cannot really run the game myself or spend much time on it. Can't wait to see your new run once you compete it, though! :)

Thanks guys! I have a PAL Stuart Little 3 which may give me a bit of a disadvantage because the game runs a bit slower than NTSC, so I think I'll do a run on emulator. I am busy with some work as well, but I think I will do a run on Saturday :D I think I might try and come up with my own route, I've got a route for the first 2 areas but I lose a bit of time on the last 3 areas, so Ill probably theorise some different routes for the last 3 areas soon.

I have been really busy with work, I have a reroute on Garden and Forrest, was in the process of re-routing the others for Any%, I have a 100% ready to submit so I might submit that, not optimized at all but its a start. I would love to come back to this game, once I finish some goals in my other games I'll be back to run again. But Smythe if you have found new routes I would love to see what you have done. I'll upload my new Forrest route on here on my next post.
