I got this new minus world PB today, but I have no idea if it was a 2:39.9x or a 2:40.0x. From Livesplit I got a time of 2:39.97 after going frame by frame, but I can't trust that Livesplit is accurate enough. This was done on FCEUX. Can someone retime this to the frame and let me know whether or not it is a 2:39? If not I want to do more runs to get a 2:39. Thanks.
@TwisterCuber and @darG did you count the video frames or the game frames? Remember the game runs slightly faster than the video. I think it has to be either a .9x or .0x
You could always submit it and let a mod time it officially
I know, but I don't want to wait that long to get an official retime, as I want to do more 239 attempts asap if it's a 240
I understand, but that’s the process we have in place. If everyone submitted a new thread asking to have their run re-timed by the community as soon as possible, we’d have a totally clogged forum.
I assumed this wouldn't be looked too kindly on. I'm not asking for instant verification though, just an exact time. I'll submit it and see what happens.
I get it. I’m just saying if everyone asked for an exact time it would be a mess of a forum.
You could try privately messaging a mod or friend or other community member on discord/twitch/elsewhere who knows how to time as an alternative if you think you need a re-time ASAP.
There’s usually someone out there willing to help!
@TwisterCuber I did some math; 9614 frames at the emulator framerate would be 2:39.969. That's probably what I'll have to go by for now
9614/60.09881=159.969 which is 2:39.969 when translated to min:sec
Any% (NTSC) runs below 4:57.000 must now fulfill additional requirements in order to be verified.
- The run's full session must be included in the submission description.
- For emulator runs below 4:57.000, some form of input display must be visible for the duration of the run. A hand-cam or input
