**Intro**
In this thread I'll explain how you can fix framerate issues in Super Meat Boy in order to make cycle based levels such as 7-19x run the intended way by capping the framerate to 60fps.


**RivaTuner**
First things first you'll need a program called RivaTuner. You can download it by clicking [**here**](http://www.guru3d.com/files-get/rtss-rivatuner-statistics-server-download,11.html)

Once installed, go ahead and launch the program (called RivaTuner Statistics Server). You will see a window like this https://i.imgur.com/MmYHsd3.png
Now click that + button (bottom left), browse through your files and find SuperMeatBoy.exe (usually contained in this path *C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Super Meat Boy\*).
After that, you can go ahead and change the *Framerate limit* to 60 on the right side of RivaTuner.
Finally, you can check out how the game runs, that should be it.


**Important Notes**
- RivaTuner has to be running in the background for it to work... so yeah keep it open
- I noticed that I was getting less wallslides and overall better game performance, which is cool
- if you happen to no longer being able to capture Super Meat Boy via OBS then it might be because of RivaTuner--if that's the case, try enabling the *Stealth mode* option in RivaTuner
