1. How should I record a 1h run with just an iPad? My dad says to never record something longer than 10 minutes without cuts, but I need to record a 60 minute run nonstop.
2. If I want to try a new category (for example 16 star) how do I learn the strategies for it? Also, since I’m using WiiVC how do I know which controls do what since there is no tutorial for controls or anything.

1. If u can’t physically record the whole thing in one go then I doubt you’ll be able to submit but I’m not too familiar with that stuff so I won’t go on about it
2. If u don’t know the controls, I really don’t advise trying to speedrun it yet. Play the game casually, get comfortable with the controls. Also if u really needed to u could just look them up. In terms of 16 star, https://www.speedrun.com/sm64/guides has tutorials for the 3 most popular categories.

@89 if you're playing emulator you can screen record with quicktime. Segmented runs are rejected.

You can do a speedrun without recording, you just can’t submit it to the leaderboard but if all you want to do is speedrun you can just not record.
