All Bosses has recently dipped below 40 minutes thanks to a run by none other than Suittyo! This is faster than an Any% run back when we had to go tame wolves for noclip. It's still rather eye-opening to see how changed the game is now with each run.
People used to complain about the run being long and slow, and now look where we're at. It can be fast, frighteningly so, when you've got some Cooking Glitch magic to work.
The sub 30 minute barrier isn't that far off, but will we get there? How long will it take?
Thanks to a new discovery by our resident glitch wizard Suittyo, All Bosses has gotten itself a little update in new strategies. Being able to Cooking Glitch in an upgraded house means we get access to the forge, which means we have access to the level 255 Windsword.
Ameagarain has put this to use and snagged a very good 47:24 in All Bosses. With this in hand, really all that's left is for better boss fight RNG and tighter movement where possible.
The times always find a way to drop, so who knows what the next development shall be?
Somehow, when you think it can't get that much faster, they find a way to do it! A new record from Ameagari has brought the game's time down to an unbelievable 7:35 record, just a month after their previous record! You could easily do two attempts at this pace in the time it took to do just one WR run before!
The game's seen a real drastic time drop since I last ran myself, going through a long series of barriers broken by Suittyo as the advanced Cooking Glitch was developed further and further, and it's been a string of barriers broken by Ameagari ever since he picked up the art of memory manipulation.
Who knows how much further and when it'll go lower, but until then, stay cozy, folks. WoweeBlanket
And as a reminder, as of February 1st, 2023, all new runs are required to show a reset on the title screen before the run starts. This is to prevent the NG+ glitch from being used to potentially cheat runs in subtle ways.

In categories where glitches are allowed, you can perform the NG+ glitch, but the setup is timed as part of the run. This means that currently NG+ doesn't save any time unless a category is made specifically for it.
Thank you for your understanding.
After studying suittyo's memory manipulation videos, (they were quite helpful,) and his WR, Hikaru has brought the fastest completion of RF1 to a staggering 8:56!
Any% probably won't go much lower than this unless a faster extended Cooking Glitch is discovered.
Wild stuff! woweesmug
Thanks to some intensive detective work from Hikaru, a proper method for the since elusive "Wolf Through Walls" glitch has arisen and consequently changed All Bosses forever.
After all, when you can pass by any wall in the game, who needs to properly open boss doors?
There still remains time to save, of course, but 1h 25m is a solid time. The old woodcutting strats are even back- brings a tear to my eye woweeblanket
After many months of attempts, @Hikarutetrio has at last joined the ranks of the runners who have achieved a time below 20 minutes in Any%! Thanks to a fantastically fast Grimoire/Terrable fight, his final adjusted time of 19:50 places him in 3rd place by just a few frames.
Achieving this time by only using the pre-ACE strategies is no small feat, and the run proves the time could go down to 19:45.
Excellent work, and a fantastic run!
