from what i have heard the 3ds timer is a little off when it comes to fmv's and maybe adds or removes the relevant time when its skipped however his splits also read 2:37:xx at the end of his run clearly he was timing via RTA and from you taking his final chapter times and compiling them results in 2:16:49 which is a little odd and sort of confirms the fmv rumor but its great that you took the time to post this however thankfully we go off IGT on a fun note at least this games IGT isnt as crazy as RE2 IGT im still curious about this games IGT timer as to why its of that much never really gave it much thought i just go off the end game IGT i personally dont think it will change anything.

i'm not sure what the 3DS version IGT counts towards the end time but i know all other versions

PC, 360, PS3, WIIU;

IGT counts when you are controlling a character IGT STOPS when you are at a result screen IGT STOPS when you pause the game (even during an episode) IGT STOPS during FMV'S

other versions are 100% accurate if you add up the episode times, 3DS will forever be a mystery most likely but it's a terrible version anyway.

also @StreakOfChaos RE2 IGT is frame based which means if your game lags the timer slows down with it to compensate. Doesn't get more accurate than that.

oh i know that but i heard a rumor on the GCN version its inconsistent on loads or something like that
