I want to add that you can beat the baby and put the Relief of a child in the door.
Lmao I can't, I'm pretty sure he means that if you're fast enough you can grab the relief of a child and put it in the door before the baby walks through that hallway and blocks you off, it's pretty sick.
Yea sorry that was a poor choice of words I meant you can be faster than the baby and put the relief of a child in the door before the baby can get you not actually kill it lol. and thanks @JohnnyNewYork You got what I meant
FYI, the first baby doesn't need to be hidden from, once you've gotten the breaker box key, you can quick turn as soon as you first hear the baby, run all the way back through the silver key room, through the study, get the relief, run all the way back to the relief door and get through before the baby gets you. Combined with Ray's strat here, you can then go grab the fuse, hide behind the door, and run back to the fuse box.
The only thing I have yet to test is how long the elevator takes to activate and open, and as such, whether or not you need to hide in the projector room or not or maybe you can loop the baby around the desk.
@XTerminator The elevator is a scripted event, you'll always have enough time to get inside so there's no need to loop it or hide, plus it's like 6 seconds. I tried the route you described a few hours ago when da baby skip was first posted, it's solid.
I may not test it tonight but is that when you first put the fuse in and activate jt? I was unaware you could simply wait for the elevator that time, if you can then in all honesty baby basement is veeery easy and quick with hardly any room for error except the couple of puzzles and line taking, feels like the zoe DLC
@XTerminator I don't what you mean by hiding from the baby i've always just looped around back through the hole you cut with the scissors and open the breaker box then. But yes after placing the fuse in box you can just wait at the elevator and if I remember right the door auto opens so you just have to get in and press the button.
@XTerminator yes when you first put the fuse in the elevator and activate it it's completely scripted, it looks like throughout this entire route the baby is basically harmless as long as you beat him to the Relief of a Child door.
This whole time I've been trying to spam the button to a door that opens by itself, then ducking into the projector room to hide when the button never works. I'm so stupid.
I totally forgot you can go the other way around through the hole at baby 1, I waited at the desk (where Mias puppet is laying) and loop around this to get around the baby. When I looped Baby 2 around the desk in projector room I had to push the button on the elevator (or it felt like I have to). Have to make a save point and test this later.
Omg I try the Baby Skip but it eats me every time: (once the skip was good but when I ran behind it it suddenly turned around and grabbed me :( I imagine there is a precise timing to go behind the door
