I finally feel like a true world record holder. Boss skip isn't the only reason I got world record, I was ahead of viba's 2:53 going into the final boss, and clutched the sub 2:30 by over 3 seconds. This run is truly better than second place, and I can finally retire from this game. This might not be the final barrier, but it's a phenomenal run and I'm extremely proud of it.
