How do you pull off the fire beam skip on 6-castle? My pb is now 29:08 and can VERY inconsistently pull off the trick. Any tips?

There’s no video tutorial, but when you are at max P-speed before the big Dry Bone, hold neutral as you fly over it, and then you’ll bounce high. Start jumping onto the Dry Bone where the ceiling above it begins. Stay a bit to the right until you hit the bottom of the burner as you’re moving left. You should be able to clip. I’d watch the WR run for the best visual demonstration.

You probably shouldn’t be going for burner clip with a 29. There are 2 easier options depending on which route you do.

With gold flower route you can grab the gold block and use that to tank the burner damage and not lose your leaf.

With leaf route you can have a second leaf in your reserve and damage boost. You can equip the reserve leave before dropping down to the next section.

Not sure of a good demonstration of the gold block method but I think Greenalink’s run does the damage boost strat.

Yea agreed. Until you get to a 26 or 27 time, focus on safer methods.

Just got a 28:45, and did damage boosting.

Do you think someone with a low 27 pb should be doing the golf flower route with burner skip?

I’d say go for it if you feel comfortable with it.
