This route is very detailed, but you can learn a lot of it pretty quickly. That is why I also made the Any% notes guide. You may use that if you feel you don't need the detail in this one.

Some room names are different for PAL English and NTSC-U English, so that is why there are two routes here. Choose the route depending on your region. Europe uses PAL and North America uses NTSC-U.

Also please keep in mind that I am not intending for you to learn the game completely from this route. It will get you started, and it will be enough for your first run, but there are a ton of little strats that the game has that I did not include in the route. Watch the WR to learn some fast strats for the places where you feel you are slowest. Also check out the strategy guides listed in the guides section.

Additionally, collecting gold is among the more difficult things to learn. Because of this, I have created a separate document containing some information which may make it easier.
