Change the rules, else no one will try the speedrun

This game require already a lot of luck, therefore a lot of retries. If we need to put 200% more time by just spamming f2 to find the good stage, this is a f*cking waste of time... Just my opinion, I wanted to put some time in the game to maybe grind all the categories, but now just thinking about me breaking my f2 key kills my interest in speedrunning this game.

When I wrote the rules, I decided that we had to start with a new level because I was not sure if we could have an advantage (manipulation on the appearance of the balls, the order of appearance of levels and bonus levels, etc.). But the expert difficulty is different because there is one level that clearly gives more points than the others, and more than 10,000.

After checking, starting with a level that has already appeared (other than a bonus level, with 0 points) does not seem to be a problem. So unless another mod thinks otherwise I'm going to change the rules.

(Also the autosplitter doesn't work well with me, I don't know if people have this problem but sometimes it restarts after each level.)

Hi, yeah I've checked and everything resets correctly after clicking OK on the Game Over box (without pressing F2): balls are randomly spawning, bonus levels don't show up too soon, etc. Even if the game starts with the same level, it's not a problem for me.

Wow, thx for your understanding guys, it will save much time for some difficulties where you want a specific level. I could maybe also see if I can adapt the auto splitter to reset when we restart the same level. Would be easyer if someone knows how to get the game's source code.

nvm for game's source code, I used cheat engine to get memory adress. It will be quite difficult to make the timer restart when we clic the "ok" button. I could also make an IGT auto splitter that would work smoother, but you would need to make a new IGT category.
