I play Roblox on a macbook, so I can't download/properly use many of the tools that other PC users get to have (e.g. WR tool-assisted speedrun) I believe it would be great if we could add a no mods category, which I feel could give many other users a better chance to make the leaderboards, and as the rules state, no mods should be used that cannot be applied on mobile or PC (some of which cannot be, as I have seen.) thanks :D
The main fflags that speedrunners use are the one that makes the skybox gray, and the one that shows your hipheight. Second one is cosmetic and mandatory for PC users for top 5 runs. First one helps you see when a corner is coming, however speedrunners also started using no light and increased brightness to see this exact same thing. You can always just do that as an alternative, and its better aswell imo, but i use both (gray skybox and no light). Also you can still get fine times without any of this, its just a bit harder.
In conclusion adding a new category to disable these few fflags is no use. Also on top of that u dont even need Bloxstrap or appleblox to apply fflags. You can do it in your own file system manually. Uchi made a video on how to do that.
