Hello wanderers,
I was wondering how the community feels about this type of run. I did this on stream a week or so ago and it was a ton of fun. It's not a category on this website but, I am curious to see if other runners are interested in doing this challenge (plus I'd like to submit my run of course lol). It's quite simply reaching level 20 as fast as you possibly can without glitches, exploits etc. in the base game. I'm sure this could be extended to the DLCs, level 30 and beyond although those runs would take much longer. I apologize if this has been asked before; I'm quite new to this site as well as the whole 'speedrunning' thing. Thanks, and have a good one <3

Speedrun leaderboards will usually only have categories made for the 'primary' speedrun completion levels/methods (Any%, Glitchless, 100%, etc). Occasionally you might see a run like this on a main leaderboard, but usually you'd be more likely to find it on a category extension leaderboard if one exists for the game (linked under the game's name near the top of the webpage). Fallout New Vegas has a lot of great non-main categories listed there. If you want to make a case for a Max Level run, it'd probably be better received there. It's also much more likely to be listed as a category there if multiple people complete this run, or at least express interest. You can also join the Fallout discord server (linked here) and post a message there to see if anyone's interested, and you can search the history of the server to see if anyone has already asked about that.
im going to be completely honest with you here, when I first saw this post yesterday, I made fun of it, a lot. I thought "what a ridiculous arbitrary run, why would you ever do that?"
I have now done like 6 runs and have been routing it extensively. I don't know why you chose 20 instead of the level cap, but yeah, this is actually a pretty fun refreshing casual run. would probably never be on the boards because of how truly arbitrary it is (and a non-run in any%) but I've been having a good time, thanks for suggesting this! :)
