Co Pilot community discussion occurred 1st to the 10th of July 2024. Rule Change Discussion.
There were many excellent points raised, with some interesting examples given.
In the end, by discord community vote the community continues to support chat assisted speedruns and copiloting.
The result was unanimous and in favour of Co Pilot & Chat Assisted Speedrun, Result:
- Filtering and communicating chat content to the speed runner.
- Fact checking chat content vs speedrun in action on screen and communicating true and false statements.
- Directly identifying mistakes in the run and communicating them to the speedrunner verbally.
- Directing the speedrunner verbally for task and crafting progression during the speedrun.
Shared information should be limited to what the speed runner can/did see directly via the game/stream on screen.
