2020 All Races

¤Things to know¤
-After your duck crosses the finish line, do RCF, every race
-You can go between racer ducks in each stage by RCFing on the "You win screen", in the guide there is the duck you have to start with to optimize this aspect and limit menuing
-You can skip the tournament part where you choose what duck to be in the tourney, simply RCF past it, if you chose the ducks that are in the tournament before, and haven't restarted the game in between, it should work

-Start the game
-Skip the intro by pressing the bottom right
-Go to the 1st running mini-game
-Get at least 1 coin, and go to ~2,000
-Once the pop-up telling you your level pops up, spam RCB (HOLD alt, spam C and B ) until you hit 150
-Eat 2 seed
-Race all the grassland ducks, starting with the white duck 
-RcF after winning to go to the next duck automatically 
-Beat the Tournament

-Enter Swamp
-RCF to the 3rd mini-game
-After the pop-up pops up, RCB spam until 150 (If you RCF past the space press for the swimming 2 game, you will get NaN, so just press space past it.)
-Race all the swamp ducks, starting with the grey duck
-RcF after winning to go to the next duck automatically 
-Beat the tournament

-Go to mountains
-Go to 1st mini-game
-Go to at least 1,000
-RCB mash on the pop-up
-Race all the mountain ducks, starting with yellow duck
-Beat the tournament

-Go to glacier 
-Skip 1st minigame
- Get about 1k in second minigame then die
-At the "Part 3 - Reactions" screen spam RcB and RcF until 150 
-Race glacier ducks (starting w/ penguin)
	-You skip the "I hate flying" guy's level barrier by just RCFing past the duck select screen
-Beat the tournament 

-Enter City
-RCF to 3rd mini-game
-Get 500 score (5 Tricks), then RCF
-Once you get to where It shows an overview of that training session, mash RCF, then RCB, so it goes back and forth -between the overview and the after that minigame pop-up, until at least 85
-Race all the city ducks, starting with green duck
-Beat the tournament

-Enter the volcano
-Race all the ducks, starting with black duck
-To skip the volcano cut scene, just RCP
-Beat the champion
-Time

2020 All Worlds

Grassland 120 Running
Skip intro by clicking the bottom right after egg select
Talk to the training duck and RCF past the 1st minigame
Suicide clip against the left side and sit there until you get 60K (120 Running)
Enter the Tourney and RCF past the first screen
Race the racers and RCF to end races faster after you cross the finish line(Do this for all races)
 
Swamp 125 Swimming
Talk to training duck
Only do the first minigame
10K = 5 Levels
Get 125 Training
Buy and eat 3 Skill Seed
Do the same as running Tourney (This will be the same for all tourneys)
 
 
Mountains 105 Flying
Only do the first minigame
Train to 105
Tourney
 
Climbing 120
RCF past first minigame
Get 120 climbing from 2nd minigame
 
Jumping 105
RCF past first minigame
Get 105 from second minigame
 
RCP right as you enter the volcano to spawn the champ
Enter the champ race
RCF past the level wall
Dont get owned by the lava

2020 Any%

Once you have your window storage set up this is the route (all you need is the access to the City area) 

- Start the run
- Hit menu to be sent to the City
- RCF until you get to the Champ
-Champion Race

2020 Glitchless Max%

Basically, this is Max% but without any glitches. It was at some point estimated to take ~40 hours (May not be accurate)

Use whatever the Glitchless Any% route says to train all 34 ducks.
Focus on getting coins. You need 5,050 just to buy all the items.
You need 750 coins per duck for energy. That is 25,500 coins total just for energy.
(That's 30,550 coins in total)
You only need to beat the champ once.
You need to beat every race, even the unnecessary ones.

2020 Max%

-In the Max%, you need to max 34 ducks, That will be at least 3 1/2 hours, be prepared
-You need 5,050 coins to buy every item
-For energy you can do a glitch where you buy at least one seed and ram your duck against the wall, and keep your cursor on the edge of the window, the duck also needs a hairstyle for this to work. (A hat might work but that is untested)

-Before the run grind out like 6,000 coins from a new file, then when you start the run, skip the tutorial by clicking the bottom right. You will keep all of your money.
-Buy the 5 eggs from the running shop
-Max out all the levels and complete all the races. (Don't forget hats)
-After you beat the Champ, keep buying the eggs in groups of 6 until you finish all of them
-The recommended order for grinding levels is Swimming(In case of NaN just buy the same egg again),Jumping, climbing, flying, running, energy
-The thing that causes NaN in swimming is skipping past the space press to start the swimming 2 game

2020 No Major Glitches

Clean un-modified file upon start
Timer starts on clicking "continue" after you select a egg
Goal is to get 150 every level and beat the game without using major glitches or a setup file
Major Glitches include: Anything RC related, Window Storage, Suicide Clip in Running.

        Do the final minigame to 150

Glitched Any% WR Route

-- Introduction --
Hi! I'm bad muchacho b, BMB for short, and I'm the world record holder for Glitched Any% in Duck Life 4. This guide will walk you through how you can achieve your own 29 second time, or even a 28.xx if you're dedicated enough. My strategy is a little more complex and difficult than the commonly used one, but it saves a bit more time. This category is pure button mashing and muscle memory - you have been warned.

-- Terminology --
RCP = Right Click Play = Alt+C+Enter
RCF = Right Click Forward = Alt+C+F
These keybinds are only available on an emulator, which you should definitely use. There's a download for one in the Resources tab if you don't have one already.

-- Window Storage Setup --
RCP from the start of the game until you reach the lava area. The "Endurance Training Over" box should still be on screen.
Go into settings and clear your save data. The button to clear data is being blocked by the box, so you have to eyeball it. Navigate through the menus until you reach the "Your egg hatched!" screen. Timing starts the frame this screen disappears.

-- The RCs --
You ideally want to perform each RC at the first possible frame when the frames stop skipping, which will take lots of practice. If you do one too early, you could get sent somewhere else and possibly corrupt your save file. Steps to fix this are at the bottom.
• Tab+Enter to click on the "Menu" button
• RCP immediately after to reach the "Endurance Training" screen
• RCP again to reach the lava area
• RCP again to make the champion appear
• Tab+Enter to select the champion
• RCF three times to reach the champion race

-- The Race --
I discovered that jumping gives you a slight speed boost, so this race strategy is optimized to get perfect lineups with the obstacles while going as fast as possible. The "Endurance Training Over" box will block your view near the start so a few of these actions are blind timings. These instructions assume you hold Right the entire time unless otherwise specified. 
• Jump once right as the race starts
• At the third lava drop, hold Up until you jump three times
• Jump over the next two drops and hold Up until you reach the pit
• Jump and hesitate for a split second, then keep jumping and moving forward. It's possible to YOLO these stairs and go forwards the entire time but it's very inconsistent
• Jump to the next two rocks as normal
• At the very edge of the upper cliff before the four rocks, jump and hold Up for the rest of the race

-- Troubleshooting --
Sometimes your save file can corrupt if you RC in the wrong places. To fix this, right click the screen and hit the "Settings" popup. Then click on the folder icon and set the local storage to None. Save your settings and restart the game. Once the game opens, set the local storage back to 100kb.
