After seeing the newest WR for Act 1 I was just wondering if there was an actual tutorial on how to actually do specific glitches that really impact runs?

If there is a video out there I’d love to see it but reading the “tutorials” on here feel like they’re put very blunt and have 0 detail about anything. Mainly something that actually explains everything from the prologue all the way up to the end game. And have it being up to date.

I’m mainly talking about stuff like clipping into the backroom at the lighthouse to get the part for Dominic to skip time, throwing and duplicating molotovs and the infinite machete throw when starting Act 2 as examples. As well as anything else that can heavily change the run and create actual competition.

Maybe I’m just speaking for myself or possibly others but all I’m saying is that a decent tutorial actually going in depth and explains what’s going on would be nice. Again if something like this already exists a point in the right direction would help but if not I think someone needs to do something about it.

Quick edit: I feel like as a Speedrun community things like this should be out in the open (the “Guides” tab) as apposed to possibly going out of your way to get answers from specific people/groups. Not everyone would have a Discord, Twitter, Reddit etc.

And I don’t mean making another text post for the tutorial. An actually video showing gameplay and how to actually perform something.
