I find that really cool that you took the time to make a version more easy to use with bugfixes, it was awful to make this game work with OBS or two monitors so now i might want to go back play it.
But i also saw in the github that you would like to change some ennemies behaviour or the way stairs are working, so maybe it will need a different category ?
Technically it can be considered a legit update but this version in its core is a separated community edition happened long after the original team ceased further maintenance, so if one future community update made stair movement and boss behaviors in Hard be actually reworked in some extent, it would be a separated category from original.
In the current shape though, the difference in mechanics is too minimum to original so separating is not needed in current revisions of Reworked.
That said, I sense the rework of these mechanic are less likely gonna happen due to other clickteam fusion developers seem to be lacking interests towards this game, even though the community edition is already made open-source.
No way to stretch at full screen in this version ? It was doing it automatically in the original.
It stretch if you set in compatibility settings to execute it in 640x360, but it bugs my other windows and if i alt tab i can not go back in the game.
edit: ok it works but you have to let your OBS and chat windows for example on the first monitor and they will move automatically on the second monitor, do what you have to do before putting the window of the game in fullscreen as you will not be able to alt tab.
It is a design choice to let the gameplay window not out of shape. With auto stretch it just looks too bad on modern widescreen monitors like original version.
If the request is high enough to motivate me, maybe I can consider making alternate presets but it's currently not on my priority.
For alt+tab I ran out of idea. I rarely rely on alt+tab command as I had no issues on recording videos. maybe it's a inner problem of clickteam fusion or Direct X 9 things that's out of my reach.
As an attempt to countermeasure this quirk I added Direct X 11 support for this game (named "CTLC Binary D11") but I have to sacrifice the original font style for new ones in Direct X 11 mode because the initial font looks bad on Direct X 11 mode and not compatible with Simplified Chinese letters on Direct X 11 mode.
By OOB i mean for example the condemned area level where you skip the entire section with the orbs to get.
I think it should be added in the rules for reworked version runs that timer starts when you take control of character, so people will know.
