Setting up

To get started make sure you are on either Wii U/Xbox 360/PS3/PSVita and you are playing on unpatched. Check out https://www.speedrun.com/asrt/guide/a3rov to see how to.

Respot

The respot glitch is a bit tricky to understand at first so gonna write something short on it here.

The Glitch

The respot can be set up in many tracks. Now how it works is you pause in a spot just before you are about to respawn. You restart and now that respawn position is stored. What that means is if you respawn as long as you are on the same lap as you did the respot in you will respawn in that location.

Now some important things to remember is that you still have to hit the lap triggers that allow you to complete a lap. on some tracks this means you go through a part of the track before respawning.
