Do the categories allow for you to use the A+Start command to pick up from the level where you game over? Sorry if I missed this information elsewhere, though I did look and could not find any reference to 1cc or anything like it. Thanks, and I look forward to running this mega-classic!
KumaKhan, honestly I'd rather not accept runs witha continue in them, and with your expertise, I'd say you'll figure this out in no time! I have accepted a couple runs that had the 5 or 7 life code on them, if you want to put one up there.. but honestly, aim for a completion with only losing 1 or 2 lives.
I appreciate the honest reply. I definitely believe I can at least complete a single loop, and with a little luck maybe the 2 loop. I also just wanted to know as much as possible for when I run this game next week for a friends Halloween event.
Honestly the 3 men the game gives should be the amount you get. No extras. And no extra life. Imo to keep it fair with that runs using those standard settings
am i allowed to increase my health bar and player lives in the menu? cant see anything in the rules to say no but thought best to ask
If you put some effort into it guys, you won't need the extra health. Getting hit is just going to slow you down. Put the practice in, and memorize the enemies and you won't have any issues.
It's actually faster to take a little damage at some point before the final boss, but you shouldn't need extra health bars for it.
