Hey, I was wondering how you guys are changing your framerate during a run. The lowest I can change it to in the game setting is 60. When I lower it to 45 in my nvidia settings, I am unable to raise it back to 60 while the game is running.
We use a third party software called Rivatuner. It allows you to change to any framerate at any time
I’m an Xbox runner, is there any current way to lower/raise fps for Xbox? I can’t even do the bounce pad skip in spawn room bc they don’t launch me high enough.
If there’s not a way to change fps for console, could there potentially be a new category made for Xbox runners?
sorry for late response on this @jackp305live but you should be able to run the No Top Grabs category just fine even on Xbox, which is essentially what a console exclusive category would be anyways, I can add a distinction variable between console and PC runs though.
@delphara you’re right I could run the no top grabs section, but some of the skips are possible on Xbox with the default framerate. Just not all of the crazy ones that would allow me to compete with PC runners. And would I need to do anything to demonstrate I’m on Xbox for my run? Or would it just be something I include in descriptions?
When submitting a run you have the option to choose the platform you are on as a tag, if you're on xbox just choose the "console" option.
if the bounce pad doesnt launch you high enough you are probably not on the latest version of the game
