A 10-second time save is possible here. Once the pirates are dealt with, go back to Oxford, park just inside the 5000km radius, and wait for the transport to jump out. Then instadock from the communication menu. We're saving 1 autopilot cutscene plus the time taken to afterburn in from 15000km by doing this.

The tricky part is that the transport will disappear from the radar about a minute before it jumps. Video here:
