Master duel in my opinion is not really designed for speed running plus with the ongoing adding of stuff into the game so its not possible for a all Solo% to be added

Only Suggestion is individual solo levels thats about it to be a run of its own

Best way is to privately contact the super mod team of the yugioh community to seek there thoughts

I mod Legacy of the Duelist hence why i saw this.

Banlist/No Banlist Championship Rules

1. Run Attempt Must Be done Live for fairness to all competitiors
2. 1 Run Attempt (Nominated by Runner on Stream)
3. Decks for Banlist Must be Submitted to the panel and Accepted before running
4. If Runner is only avaliable for some of the marathon days i would absolutely Advise to livestream all the category attempts and Rerun the stream in conjuction to the marathon Schedule so people can see your run attempt
5. Please Post Runs also in the Yugioh LOTD Marathon Discord Section

Possible Rule: to make things interesting for Banlist is that you have to use a different deck for each of the campaigns that would test the skill of a runner (This to be agree upon or will be excluded Rule)

Guys However Story Deck Any% Runs we will need a video Submissions and a panel will decide who will run those categories

one thing to note everyone is if multiple people want to do the same category there will have to be video submissions and i will set up a team (Panel) to go thru and determine who will get that slot i do sense og campaign will be popular and we will have a tough decision for example on that 1.

Im Very Much Keen to Organise a LOTD Speedrunning Marathon of Sorts to help grow our community the event will be over a couple of days (3-4 Days to accommodate time zones and availability of people) a dates yet to be confirmed.

Hey Everyone

You would of Noticed i have added Yu-Gi-Oh! Vrains Category and updated the 5Ds Category rule (1 Duel Was Added)

This has meant i have made a Decision to make a temporary placing for old runs effected by this change in a misc section on the full game Leaderboard. To me i do not like Rejecting Runs i felt by having this temporary category we acknowledge the effected runs for now.

Im in the Process of contacting all effected and are simply asking them at some point in time to re do the category they did and then we can remove there old run and eventually that section in the full Game Leaderboard or the section gets removed at a certain date

I Think 4 Runs have only been Effected. (2 EZScape, 1 Shauny7188 and 1 Pretends2Know)

People May also ask a lot of the runs under the old Master Rule should be removed is well.

To Answer this i say no to that simply for the Reasons as follows

1. Not Many Submitted Runs yet for Link Evolution and the runs have not been fully Optimized

2. Runs Submitted under the new Master Rule will Result in Faster times for Completion of Certain Categories meaning Records will be still be broken

We are very "Fortunate" not to have any no Banlist Runs as majority of people if submitted would of run an Exodia Deck as the New Update now has a Exodia Animation and would of Resulted in slower times and resulting in removing runs under the old version of Link Evolution.

Also i have had many people Query about why is the Tutorial Duel Not Part of the Speedrun as you can play this as a Normal Duel.

The First Duel of Each Series is meant to be explanation (Tutorial) of how the mechanics work in that particular category yes it can be played as a normal duel but a decision was made on the old Legacy of the Duelist in 2015-16 when i wasnt involved for the reason just Explained in this paragraph hence why we start on the Second Duel

This Rule will Definitely not be changed as it would make 200+ Runs Invalid on the old Legacy of the Duelist game and all the Runs here invalid here seriously Effecting the LOTD Community.

An Update

For Effected people in Misc "Temporary Retired Runs" runs have been placed

I have asked people Effected to re do Their Runs at some point and once you have done a new run ill remove the run from the temp category and Eventually the Entire Category

im going to update things now

ill try leave the runs as Legacy Patch but we will see how it goes
