ChinaThe Russian cavalry is absolutely insane here, when I did this run they were consistently breaking my infantry in a square formation. This battle seems simple but isn’t. Good run!
This is super impressive. In theory the naval battles can be speedrun by positioning your ships to use both broadsides at the same time but in practice I’m just bad.
Only four more runs and then you’ve got a sweep of unbeatable (for me anyway) records for these battles. Good run!

I recently dug up an old video of mine where i completed one of the conquests in 9 minutes and 19 seconds. Its been so long that I don't recall exactly the details of the game. There is no category for the conquest, which could be added. My run dates to Dec 17, 2020.
Waterloo as Britain might be harder to go fast, so maybe it should be its own thing. As France you can destroy Prussia and make them spawn earlier, as Britain you have to defeat 1.5 insane armies alone or wait at least 15 min on one speed for Prussia to arrive.
Aw man. Time to run the gauntlet of crashes and glitches. It’s fine though because I’d lose time anyways on a reload.
Bro I can’t do sub 2 min where do I save 8 seconds? Load time?
My recent run got rejected after I exited to main menu after I got stuck on ai turn with a glitch. If that happens in future, would my run be verifiable if I used an alt-f4 and reloaded the entire game?
Under rome total war remastered, there should be a button that says discord
otherwise, you can type /invite/crwHqp6 to discord and it might work
The only other thing is that it is somewhat annoying to reset every 10 runs to avoid increasing lag on the load in. If there is anywhere where it might have an impact, it would be Italy.
Could it be possible to remove the loading in time for runs? A few reasons:
- Rome, Medieval II, and some other games do this already
- It would make the times lower, which is nice
- PC differences can lead to slower computers being a bigger disadvantage
- In long attempt sessions, I find that lag increases after about 6-10 attempts, forcing me to restart the game.
Its not just you. I tried a year ago and found that strat that worked in a run a few weeks before was not enough.
Empire total war would be nice. Could it be added?
